Sweet Treats - Chilli Chocolate

Need of a little pick me up? We've got the answer here at the Devil's Garden! If you are a devoted sweet tooth or simply in need of something that will get your spirits up in a jiffy then go for what most of us would give an arm and a leg for: chilli chocolate.

Wether you are a purist and want to go straight to the intense dark kind then you should definitely go for Dartmoor Chilli Farm, Grim Reaper Food or the Chilli Pepper Company's own versions as they are all insane in terms of quality and have a level of spice tailored to anybody's needs.

Grim Reaper Foods has done it again. After bringing us the award-winning “Evil One” hot sauce as well as the innovative “Jekyl & Hyde” chilli sauce, a fantastic trio of chilli chocolate has been released for the pain and pleasure of our most chilli mad chocoholics customers at the Devil’s Garden.

It is not hard to see why the Grim Reaper Foods trio of chilli chocolate is fast becoming a bestseller everywhere as each of the chilli chocolate has its own particular flavour and spice level. The white chilli chocolate named “Purgatory” is just out of this world with is intense heat and interesting flavour thanks to a hint of bergamot oil swirled in it.

Grim Reaper Foods Hell Raise milk chilli chocolate is a wonderful experience of just enough spice peaking through the creaminess of the quality milk chocolate while Grim Ripper Foods Black Widow dark chilli chocolate takes you to a mysterious place where only a hint of orange essence will remind you of a world you once lived in.

For those living in the Lancaster and Morecambe area, we would like to remind you that The Devil’s Garden can deliver lots of chilli goodies right at your doorstep!

Once you have chosen a selection of fiery treats (£10 minimum), just send us a quick email from our contact page (here) so we can proceed with your order and waive the delivery fee that you would normally pay when ordering through the website.

Many people who are now regular customers have already benefited from this service and keep telling us how easy and lovely it is to receive everything by hand which avoids delivery problems we have had with Royal Mail such as broken jars or burst packets of crisps.

We always offer suggestions and make people aware of the special deals we have going on at the moment which is also greatly appreciated. At the Devil’s Garden we have many things to satisfy your chilli and sweet craving, starting with Dartmoor Chilli Farm and their awesome range of chilli chocolates (loads of choices!), chilli marmalades (and soon to come the best chilli strawberry jam, like, ever!!) as well as sweet chilli sauces and chilli jam. Mr Vikki’s closely follows with an amazing range of preserves, one of our favourite being the hot mango chutney and gooseberry one.

Firefoods have a chilli peanut butter to rival the best American brands and their chilli chocolate drops are a must have for bakers and kids out there!

Chilli Pepper Pete is one of our best selling brand and for a good reason. Their produce are definitely on the hottest scale, with Dragon’s Blood (apple and pineapple – Dragon’s Blood Batch 13 even hotter!) and Dragon Slayer (blueberries, cherries and prunes) some of the best hot sauces with chilli extract we have ever tasted.

Dartmoor Chilli Farm - Just Wonderful

Dartmoor Chilli Farm is without a doubt one of our favourite chilli brands, not only because of their scrumptious range of chilli products but also because of their environmentalism, integrity and inventiveness.

We were therefore keen to get a hold of many more of their produce as soon as possible and to share our discoveries with you. We now have five different chilli marmalades (Seville Orange, Lemon & Ginger, Orange & Whisky, etc...), all incredibly tasty although a bit mild for our liking if we’re perfectly honest...

But if it’s spice that you’re after then quickly order some of their Bhut Jolokia dried Chilli flakes available in an attractive tin or some of their Bhut Jolokia chilli pods, amazing in colour, taste and size albeit a bit scary sometimes by their pungency! Dartmoor Chilli Farm’s Beast of Dartmoor, a fresh tasting natural hot sauce, is just how its name indicates, full on, slightly mysterious and so tasty you’ll wonder where it all went!

We also have new preserves such as Sweet chilli chutney, Sweet pepper and tomato chilli chutney, Tomato and chilli salsa, Jalapeno and cider chilli chutney, Sweet chilli sauce and a fantastic chilli salad dressing!

Spicy Snacks - For When You Need a Chilli Fix!

At the Devil’s Garden we have a good range of spicy snacks for those times when you just need a chilli fix.

Blair’s Death Rain Habanero crisps are just great and with a packet larger than average you really get value for money. Beware though, as these are much hotter than what you would find in an average shop! Blair’s Chipotle crisps are a bit milder but have that particular smoky taste that just makes us weak in the knees!

A lot of our customers ask us about chilli nuts. Firefoods ones are quite hot but incredibly tasty and perfect for this summer’s barbecues. Dave’s Burnin Nuts are for advanced users only as these will make a grow man cry. Dave’s Smokin BBQ Nuts are milder but absolutely cracking!

If you’re in need of chocolate, try any of the Dartmoor Farm chilli chocolates. From milk to dark, from mint and coffee to orange, their produce is superb. Their new range is also great (fruit & nut, apricot pieces and whole almonds) and we’re having a lot of success with their Dark Chocolate with Ginger Pieces.

Firefoods also produce picked onions called Fire Onions which we highly recommend… although we’ve been cursed a couple of times with these as the burn lingers for a good half hour!!

Great news for those who cannot function without some form of chocolate in their system, Dartmoor Chilli Farm is bringing out new flavours to their range which is already much loved and sought after.

Most of you are familiar with the superior chocolate produced by this great supplier who fortunately refuses to compromise, using only the best quality ingredients in order to create a strong product to which they can add flavours to suit any taste.

We were won over from the start by the chilli essence oozing out of the standard Dartmoor Chilli Farm dark and milk chocolate bars and it is proving difficult not to eat all of our stock!

We advise all of our customers to try and dip at least two rows of the chocolate orange into warm milk to create an instant indulgent hot chocolate with a bit of a kick. We unfortunately eat the mint chocolate by the crate and the coffee one is just awesome to have with any kind of freshly brewed beverage.
